The Greatest Christmas Gift

My Christmas foyer

Today as we celebrate Christmas with our families and friends let us remember the Lamb of God,  promised from the beginning of time…Jesus is the Greatest Christmas Gift of all! Let us keep in mind that even tho the birth of a baby is precious and joyful, that THIS baby came  for one reason only and that was to point us all to the God of all Creation and to give his life so that we could once again be right with God.

I pray you have a wonderful Christmas this year with all the joy it brings. And yet, I’m aware that someone reading this may not be having such a ‘merry’ Christmas. Death and grief have overwhelmed you or maybe a loved one is sick and in need of healing. Maybe someone has hurt you and you are heartbroken. Whatever the problem, nothing can separate you from the Love of God. He LOVES you! Nothing anyone can do,  or any sickness or anything else the devil can throw your way,  can take away God’s promises to you. He loves you and cares deeply about what’s happening to you.

If you’re having a difficult Christmas, seek the face of God.  He is the only source of help for any of us. And He wants you to run to Him for any and every problem you may be facing.  All the hurts and all the pain and disappointments can be trusted to Him. Let Him carry your burdens.  Give them all, each and everyday, to him. You may as well, you can’t fix them…but He can. Let him.

This is His Christmas gift to you. Let Him carry your worries and cares. And regardless of the outcome, Trust that it’s going to be fine and He’s working it out for your good.  And you? You continue to do what you need to do each day: get up, eat, laugh, pray, cook, clean, work ~ whatever your task is for the day, do it,  trusting God to handle what you can’t. And He will.

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord.”

The Greatest Christmas gift  you will ever receive: His son, who was born to die for your sins, so that you might have life more abundantly. That’s a gift. Nothing that the world can throw at us can ever compare to the wonder of this gift.

Jesus said:

“Be of Good Cheer, I have overcome the world”

I pray God Blesses you this Christmas…. and you receive His gift of Love!
