Wow, What a Great Day!!! …I’m featured on SITS Girls! …(the Secret is in the Sauce) Welcome!! to everyone visiting from SITS Girls… I hope you’ll find something you like and decide to stay awhile…..in the mean time, please look around and make your self at home…
I love being creative and making things I could easily just go buy…but what’s the fun in that? And where’s the satisfaction, I wanna know? I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes but I also like to share recipes and tips that I know are tried and true for those who may just be starting out on this journey of life as a wife and mother.
I’m a Christian and love to share insights into God’s word. I want everyone to know how very much God loves us and how He is working in our lives, even though we might not see His hand… it is there!
This week we are fighting the flu bug in our family. My son’s family last week, my other son’s family over the weekend and my daughter’s family this week. It’s been rough…so this morning I decided I need to make some Ginger Tea to help ward it off from my house…
If you are struggling with the flu or cold and need something extra to help keep you safe or heal your body, you may want to try this.
The Recipe: Ginger Tea
1 individual tea bag
1/12 cups of water
Juice of one lemon
1 Tablespoon of thinly sliced ginger root (peeled)
1-2 Tablespoons of honey…to taste
Place all ingredients, except honey, in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 5-10 minutes. Pour into 2 cups and add honey, to taste. Sip away. Enjoy and stay healthy. Serves 2.
Thank you stopping by…please hurry back
And I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas…
love, Renee

Happy SITS Day! I love ginger tea when I am feeling a little under the weather. I used to drink it all the time during the 1st trimester of my pregnancies.
Wishing you a lovely day!
