It’s Fall, Y’all! My favorite time of year. I used to think it was because I was born in the Fall but I have come to realize loads of other people love it, too! I love the cool mornings on my back porch, sipping my morning coffee and reading my daily devotional. I love watching the leaves fall in the back yard. I love that the birds seem to be happier this time of year. My hummingbirds are frantically sipping away, getting ready for their 3000 mile journey. There just seems to be so much excitement in the air. How blessed I feel that God allowed me to be born in the most perfect season of the year. How lucky can a girl get?
I’ve always loved decorating in the Fall. Fall decorations can go up on Labor Day and stay up through September, October and November! Three whole months! Christmas decorations only stay up ONE month! So it makes sense to decorate this time of year and really have time to sit back and enjoy them!
One of my favorite decorations is the wreath I made several years ago. Its colors are still so pretty in the sunlight. My next project will be to decorate my porch for Fall…I’ve already begun…just need to add a few more touches…
Do you decorate for Fall? What is your favorite Fall decoration?

My favorite decorations are the beautiful fruits and veggies of the fall harvest. I love the colors!
October 1, 2013 at 9:53 pmI love the colors, too, Karen. Something very peaceful about Fall colors. Maybe it’s the cool weather that comes with it…
October 1, 2013 at 10:56 pmI LOVE the Fall too! It is absolutely my favortie time of the year. I like it because the weather is so mild. I like it when it’s not too cool and it’s not too hot…it’s just right! It makes me think of Christmas coming and that is second in line of favorites.
October 1, 2013 at 10:12 pmMe, too Wyneatte, …the perfect weather can’t be beat! It just doesn’t last very long here in GA…:) Yes, I’d say Christmas is the best by far!

October 1, 2013 at 11:02 pmI love the wreath! I usually collect conkers and have a few in a basket on my fireplace. Though I don’t collect quite so many since the year they all went mouldy…rather ruined the effect!
