Art to Gogh Valentine’s Paint Party
Art to Gogh Paint Party. What a fun evening we had painting with the girls…I have to admit, they weren’t bad students even tho I had been warned that Kindergarden teachers don’t sit still for long nor do they know how to be quiet for long. True on both accounts but the great thing is they paid attention when needed and did a great job on their paintings. I loved how original they were with their flourishes and quotes. The Bible says we are made in the image of God. That is a delightful thought to me because it gives me “permission” to be creative…after all God is the creator. It also tells me everyone has a measure of creativity that just needs to be brought out from time to time. LAst night when I heard groans that they just couldn’t do it…I reminded them that Stella did it! She’s my 5 year old granddaughter and one of their students…yes, she did. And they did, too!
