Slow-Cooker Beef and Broccoli

beef and broccoli

Beef and Broccoli is a perfect slow cooker dish that cooks in only 2 1/2 hours. That gives me just enough time to go to Sunday School and church and come home to a warm and delicious meal! You can do it, too…

This recipe was inspired by the Slow-Cooker Recipes page’s Beef and Broccoli recipe on Facebook.  I switched to a Flank steak because it’s tender without being fatty. And it cooks quicker.

Prepare the beef the night before and marinate in sauce. The next morning, cook the rice and set aside.  Steam broccoli until tender and set aside. Put the beef in the slow cooker.  Cook on high for 2 1/2 hours.  If you’d like to cook it slower on low you can cook it in 4  hours.

Just before serving, add cooked broccoli.  Serve over rice.  It’s so easy, so good.

Aww, I don’t really like beef but apart from that it sounds tasty and so easy to make. I love slow cooker meals for this time of year and always looking for some new ideas because I’m fed up of the same casseroles and stews that we do.

I haven’t been too much into slow-cooker meals until the past 6 months. Since then, I have found so many wonderful recipes. I had a bad experience with the last beef recipe, which is the reason I changed this from a chuck roast to a flank steak. The chuck roast was greasy and made me sick. It has taken me years to get over it!!! Try it, you may like it!

I would also like to add that if you do not surely have an insurance policy or maybe you do not belong to any group insurance, you will well take advantage of seeking assistance from a health insurance broker. Self-employed or people who have medical conditions commonly seek the help of the health insurance dealer. Thanks for your blog post.
