I came to your blog because Jen Allwood showed a photo on Facebook of your gorgeous front door frame and flowers and the first thing I saw was this post. How appropriate, as I too lost my father, suddenly, unexpectedly, in his sleep at the age of 61. He was my best friend and even after 5 years I still miss him and I suppose that will never change. I’m sorry for your loss.

Oh Corinna, I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. I was just thinking I needed to write a new post, that no one cared to read about my loss…thank you for commenting. 61 is a terribly young age to die and I’m sure you miss him everyday. My daughter is probably about your age and I can’t imagine how she would do without her mom (me). It’s something we all will have to suffer through and then those we leave will suffer when we leave….I still can’t believe it, tho. It’s so surreal to think they’re no longer here to talk to…..isn’t it? There are so many things that have come up in the past few months, I just wish I could tell my daddy! Thank you for stopping by and please come back, soon…love

I just found your blog (used to all be on the SL board!) and I am so glad I did.

Firs though I am so sorry about your Daddy. (((hugs))) though I know it isn’t enough.

I can’t wait to catch up and read more of your blog!
